Shambho! Welcome to Bindu World.

Bindu – All is contained in the Dot

The Bindu of Tantra

In modern geometry, a point is treated as an abstraction, an idea without dimension. In Sanatana Dharma and for its rishis, a point or a Bindu is of multidimensional brilliance. It is a mystical, philosophical, mathematical, ritualistic and spiritual beauty endowed with cosmic intelligence and power. It is the point out of which time, space, causality and every other universal phenomenon emerges and expands. Quite literally, all is contained in the dot!

To the great seers of Bharata, the Bindu is not a symbol. It is the nucleus of reality and truth. The center of the center, the ultimate point of return. It is what a seeker must pierce with the power of their Kundalini Shakti – the one who slumbers at the base of every human’s spine, dormant yet immeasurable in potency. This Shakti is not for curiosity, entertainment, or reckless experimentation. She is atomic and cosmic, capable of ruthlessly dismantling the illusions that hold one’s life together. Bindu and Kundalini are great powers of one reality.

The Collider Within

Consider CERN—27 kilometers of machinery designed to accelerate particles to 99.99% of the speed of light, consuming enormous natural resources. Yet even with such engineering feat, science admits defeat: anything with mass cannot reach the speed of light without infinite energy.

For the Sanatana rishis, the one power that is of an infinite amount of energy is Kundalini herself and the collider within is the human spine. Now imagine the atomic distance between the Muladhara Chakra and the Sahasrara Chakra in the bio-energetic plane or the pranamaya kosha of consciousness. Unlike the collider which is man made, the supreme shakti of Kundalini is the mother who makes men who make colliders! And she has only one purpose. To travel along the pathway of our spine, pierce the BINDU and merge in a big bang with Shiva! And she does so at the SPEED OF LIGHT or perhaps even speedier!

But why must your Kundalini get to the Bindu at all? What’s the purpose?

The process, in fact, is a natural occurrence on the spiritual path particularly when seekers manipulate or play with prana. There is no written law, however, or a book in Sanatana Dharma that mandates or dictates you to reach this point. The choice to miss the point is fully yours just as getting to the point is!

Yet, a colossal compilation of tantrik spiritual work exists in Bharata, precisely asking you not to miss the point! Blueprints on how to reach the Bindu are painstakingly elaborated and offered to humanity.  Even after thousands of years of conquer, loot, plunder and destruction, Shaiva and Shakta Agama lineages still adorn the land of Bharata. Spiritual insights from rishi paramparas continue to expand and evolve into further traditions and written documentations. A serious seeker can find hundreds of practical yogic and tantrik kriyas, waiting to be explored!

Be aware that although enormous work exists, they are shrouded in mystery and sacred power. Handholding of tantrik rishis and rishikas and the grace of the parampara itself is necessary for any sadhaka. Otherwise, one can wander away in emptiness like an astronaut lost in space; untethered, alone, scared.

“Bindu is Parashakti herself, the powerhouse of existence. To enter her is to recognize the Paramashiva within.” – Moe Maa

Some points to remember:

      • Bindu comes from the Sanskrit root word ‘bhid’, to break through, to pierce. It also means dot, point, drop.
      • Bindu is the point of transition from duality to pure consciousness. It is the deep bottomless drop into which the sadhaka must dive!
      • Piercing the Bindu is the final stage in crossing over to the unmanifest realm and requires the anugraha or the grace of Paramashiva.
      • Every genuine spiritual realization born from true sadhana is anchored in Vedic or Tantrik Shastra.

    For those who are ready

This journey is not for all. It is not for the curious, the casual, the thrill-seeker or the imposter.

It is for the one who feels the inexplicable pull, the one who recognizes the call of the dot within and the one whom the grace of Shiva has already touched.

If you feel that call, if the Bindu stirs something ancient in you, reach out.
Those who are ready will be guided by a living parampara that carries this sacred knowledge.
